The water in the tank is hot, however the nothing coming out of it is unmeasurable. :)
I got all the winch stuff out of the compartment and squeezed in there. I haven't tried using a wrench or anything to get it off yet, but I will this weekend. If I can't fit in there right I'll let Leslie try. And if that doesn't work, I can get my friend's 9 year old son to go in there I'm sure. :)

No offense taken here, Jim, in fact I think I was the first to float the idea of Ohio-only sactioned rallies. The only thing I have to disagree with is that a rally in PA (or Michigan, Indiana, or West Virginia) is automatically a great distance for everyone to travel, it's all relative to where you live. A rally in PA can be closer for the folks in eastern Ohio than it is if it's held in the Dayton area for instance. But I feel that "Ohio Rallies" should be held in Ohio. :)

The Flamingo Auction & planning was originally done at the "Fall Rally" since it was the last rally of the year. However, this year & last year the 2 rallies were combined due the game being in October both months. If you notice, the official title of the rally this year and last year is "Fall & OSU/PSU Rally" so we are essentially having the auction & planning at the Fall Rally still. :)

I'd like to add a couple cents of my own for planning next year's rally. :) I know it may sound odd coming from someone in PA, but I really think the "official, sanctioned" Rallies should be held only in the state of Ohio. It's nice to have these rallies in other states for a reason to travel to them, but I think we're losing site of the original purpose of the group as stated on the main page of our website:
"The RV.NET Ohio Rally is a chance for members of RV.NET from Ohio to meet in person and enjoy a weekend of camping with new friends and old, sometimes having been old friends that had never actually met in person before."
I'd really like to see the official rallies be held all around the state, maybe even make an effort to have one in each region each year. Maybe we could make it a goal that over so many years we will have had a rally in each county? While it's nice to make them centrally located, that's great for those that live in central Ohio but still not good for those in say Cincinnati. Just some more things to think about as we begin planning next year. :)

Sorry about that Jayberg, I updated our website and also the first post of this thread. We're having hot dogs & mountain pies around the fire Friday evening (plus whatever else anyone wants to bring). Saturday morning or early afternoon we're taking a trip to the Cook Forest Fire Tower where you can literally see for miles, it's pretty awesome. Then later in the afternoon we're taking a trip to Kittanning for the Kittanning Firemen's Band concert, a band that I play in. Kittanning is about an hour or so away and we'll be stopping somewhere interesting for dinner on the way back, but as yet undecided where. :)
This ended up being a rather small rally so we decided against a potluck.

Since it looks like this is going to be a fairly small rally, would those going be interested in a side trip about an hour or so away on Saturday? There is an antiques & crafts show in our hometown of Kittanning that day but the big attraction is The Kittanning Firemen's Band CD release concert in the same park. :) We're doing a concert in the amphitheatre along the river and selling our new CD's in addtion to random giveaways during the show. The antiques show is free as is the concert. Considering the size of the rally, we could car pool down in 2 or 3 vehicles.
We don't have to do this, just throwing it out there as an idea to see if there is interest or not. :)
